Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received an invitation from Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz to attend the third Arab Socio-Economic Summit.
The summit will take place in Riyadh on January 21-22.
The invitation was delivered to His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, when he received at the Presidential Palace Ebrahim Al Sa’ad Al Barahim, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the UAE.
Al Barahim conveyed to Shaikh Mohammad King Abdullah’s greetings.
Present during the meeting were Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Dr Anwar Mohammad Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and other senior officials.
